OPAD Goodwill Ambassadors, Advocates, and High-Level Supporters
It is my pleasure to present to you today the OPAD Goodwill Ambassadors, Advocates, and High-Level Supporters.
OPAD, which stands for Organization for Poverty Alleviation and Development, is an international non-profit organization that works to end poverty and hunger and mitigate climate change impacts through sustainable development initiatives. This unique approach has gained momentum over the years. OPAD has received overwhelming support from businesses, individuals, and organizations that share the same vision and mission.
One of the ways OPAD has spread its message and engaged with different stakeholders is through its impressive roster of Goodwill Ambassadors, Advocates, and High-Level Supporters. These individuals have lent their voices, influence, and resources to help OPAD achieve its goals.
Firstly, let me introduce some of the fantastic Goodwill Ambassadors that OPAD has partnered with. They include:
1. Robert Redford – an actor, director, and environmental activist who has been an ardent supporter of OPAD since 2002.
2. Jackson Browne – a singer-songwriter who has donated a portion of his tour proceeds to OPAD as well as being a Goodwill Ambassador for the organization.
3. Yvon Chouinard – founder of Patagonia, a company that has been a member of OPAD since its inception in 2002 and has become one of OPAD’s biggest supporters.
These high-profile individuals have used their platforms to elevate OPAD’s message and encourage others to join the movement to protect the planet and ensure the sustainability of our environment.
In addition to these Goodwill Ambassadors, OPAD has also collaborated with Advocates who are equally passionate about the cause. These Advocates include:
1. Raymond Harlail, Chairman of The Power of Collaboration · International Human Rights Peace Commission – IHRPC- which highlights the importance of sustainability in business.
2. Jeff Cresswell – co-founder of Klean Kanteen, which produces reusable water bottles that are an alternative to single-use plastic water bottles.
3. Amb Dr Tony Jaja – in addition to being a Goodwill Ambassador, Dr Jaja has also spoken on behalf of OPAD at various events and forums.
Lastly, OPAD has attracted High-Level Supporters who have provided significant financial support to the organization. These High-Level Supporters include:
1. Albangs – an outdoor clothing company that has been a member of OPAD since 2002 and donates one percent of sales to environmental causes.
2. Airmegga – a travel trailer company that has provided significant financial support to OPAD’s grant-making program.
3. Scandic & Company – a food and beverage company that has committed to donating one percent of sales to environmental causes and has partnered with OPAD to support its grant-making program.
In conclusion, OPAD has assembled an impressive group of Goodwill Ambassadors, Advocates, and High-Level Supporters who have used their resources and platforms to spread the message about the importance of sustainability and protect our environment. Their contributions have been invaluable in advancing OPAD’s mission and ensuring a healthier planet for generations to come. Thank you.
